12 of 12 April 2007 (3)

I checked my mail after Mass (Zip Code 21412, hint, hint). I finally got in my crucifix order and my bag of thirty pre-cut pieces of different colored twine to make Rosaries. I had ordered them a few weeks ago, and have been waiting until now to get all that stuff in (now I have to find the time to make them, pray them, and find the people to give them away to). I also received a couple letters in the mail. It's always nice to find something in the ol' mailbox.

D&B practice this afternoon for our concert in Harrisburg, PA on Saturday. Here, a couple of my friends practice "Top Gun" from our fall show on the vibraphones.

This is the youngster male Bible study (one of the bigger ones we've had this year). We've been going through the Acts of the Apostles, discussing the early Church. Very interesting.

Here is my little Easter candle on my desk that I light whenever I'm going to be at my desk for a while. I bought a few white candles today at the Mid Store to burn through the Octave and on special feast days (I should probably buy a red one too, for the martyrs (color has a lot of meaning for me). It gives me comfort and reminds me that Christ will light my way through another night and into one more fine, Navy day.

I'll be able to send you mail next year when I get my P.O. box. (Lauren and I got an apartment together.)
