12 of 12 April 2007 (1)

12 of 12 is an idea that I heard about from the Rosary Army podcast. That was the first podcast that I started listening to, and it's definitely one of my favorites. They're the folks I received my Rosary from, and they're who I learned how to make Rosaries from.
Anyway, the idea is to take twelve pictures of my life on the twelfth of each month (how appropraite that that is the date that someone else uses to reflect on their life) and comment on them. I'm not sure that I can get all of them on the same post, so I might post in three parts, but here we go:

My day started after midnight as I was still up studying. It's an atypical day when I go to bed before midnight. I'm not complaining, but I figured that this (papers spread out on my desk, headphones on listening to music or podcasts, look of concentration and frustration on my face) is a good look at a large part of my life.

Sleep! Finally! Rack time is one of the best times of the day. Notice the squishy "Razzles" pillow that my mom got me for Christmas. You can also see a slight little bit of my orange sleeping bag.

Today was the start of 3/c Registration for the fall semester. Everyone wakes up to be the first to get on the MIDS system so they can get the schedule they want. Registration used to start at 0530, but now starts at 0700. Much less hardcore, and it means we have to skip formation.

Thursdays are my E&M lab day. Today, we were doing another experiment with the magnetic field generated by current carrying wires. We also played with those cool digital oscilloscopes you can see to the right.
