I was just talking to my parents on the phone, and my dad told me something that I'd never heard before, but that makes a lot of sense:
Killer whales are actually dolphins.
Now, I haven't fact-checked this or anything, but Shamu does look an awful lot more like Flipper with his dorsal-fin and bottle-nose than he does that big humpback in Finding Nemo.

I just brought up with fact to my roommates and they didn't believe me so I said, "Yeah! It's like how a koala bear isn't a bear!" and they made fun of me for retorting with a dorky fact without missing a beat and then I spewed a mouthful of pea pods.
It's not being dorky, it's showing an appreciation for the small, interesting things in the world around us.
hmm...I just found out that this thing sends me an e-mail even when I comment on my blog. That's odd.
Blogger never sends me emails. Maybe it hates me.
